For a long time we have been looking for appropriate solutions for the ecological packaging of our diets. We chose the most pro-eco option. Learn about our compostable eco boxes and let’s take care of the environment together!
Renewable resources
The eco boxes we use are made entirely of renewable plant materials (packaging, cover, sealing foil). Unlike most packaging available on the market, our boxes are fully compostable. This means that, under the right conditions, they will decompose without a trace in just 12 weeks! After this time they can be reused as natural fertilizer.

Functionality and durability
Our boxes are not only fully compostable. Their durability is not inferior to that of plastic – they are 100% hermetic and safe. You can cool them down or heat them up in a microwave. Fat or moisture will not harm them either. When you have finished your meal, simply throw them into a container with organic or mixed waste.

How to order a diet in an eco-box?
All our diets can now be ordered in eco-boxes.
All you have to do is check the “EKO Packaging” option in the order panel and we will deliver the ordered dishes in environmentally friendly, compostable sugar cane boxes. You can also add ecological cutlery to the sets.

Questions and answers
The production of packaging based on natural resources is still many times more expensive than plastic. This is why additional charges are made.
One day of Pomelo diet in ecological packaging costs 5 PLN, which is one of the lowest prices on the market. We do not earn money on ecological packaging, we are simply aware that such actions are necessary!
For now, ecological containers are disposed of in mixed waste. They are compostable and can be thrown into bio containers, but waste management companies unfortunately qualify them as plastic. Therefore, they should be thrown into mixed waste containers, where they will decompose anyway leaving no trace.
The compostability of eco boxes means that they can be composted, i.e. disposed of in bio waste containers. Pomelo’s ecological containers decompose completely in a few dozen days and are made exclusively of organic materials such as sugar cane.
